We’re delighted to announce that four members of the DTM Legal team – Molly, Juliet, Beth and Casey – have successfully completed the Gower Coast Marathon Challenge in aid of Dementia UK, our Charity of the Year.
The intrepid team consists of:
- Molly Clapham, Senior Paralegal, Dispute Resolution
- Juliet Mistry, Trainee Solicitor, Corporate & Commercial
- Beth Thompson, Paralegal, Corporate & Commercial
- Casey Williams, Trainee Conveyancing Legal Assistant, Residential Property
Taking on the 26.2-mile stretch of stunning – yet demanding – Welsh coastline, the team braved two nights of camping in wet conditions before setting off on their coastal trek. Thankfully, the weather held out for the walk itself, and after less than three weeks of preparation, the team crossed the finish line with smiles on their faces and a huge sense of achievement.
Our chosen charity, Dementia UK, provides crucial support through its network of specialist dementia nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, who deliver free, life-changing advice and assistance to individuals and families impacted by dementia. Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia, and today approximately 944,000 people live with the condition. Despite this significant need, only around 400 Admiral Nurses are currently available nationwide.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, they’ve raised over £1,500 for Dementia UK, helping to fund specialist dementia nurses who provide vital support for families across the UK.
At DTM Legal, supporting charitable causes is a key part of our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) policy, and we’re incredibly proud of the team’s dedication, resilience and commitment to making a difference.
A huge congratulations to Molly, Juliet, Beth and Casey – your determination and team spirit have truly embodied the values we stand for.
Charitable giving is one of our core ESG commitments. Learn more about Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) at DTM legal.
