Stephen joins DTM Legal with a wealth of experience in a variety of practice areas across Commercial Property, such as Landlord and Tenant, Utilities and Secured Lending.
After qualifying in London, and practising in the South East for over 10 years, Stephen developed relationships with a number of clients ranging from global utilities companies, regional leisure facilities operators to international banks. In 2018 Stephen relocated to the North West to be closer to family in his native Liverpool and has developed close working relationships with Landlord’s with portfolios of properties across the North West and charitable organisations for whom he advises on a wide range of Landlord and Tenant transactions.
Stephen’s expertise in the Utilities Sector has led to a variety of transactions during his career, including dealing with rights to lay and install the electricity infrastructure to supply a number of the venues used during the 2012 London Olympics.
Stephen has a very commercial approach to each transaction and believes that honesty, efficiency and taking time to understand a clients’ business and their specific needs and expectations are key to achieving client goals and building a lasting relationship. He values his clients and the trust they place in him to be their trusted advisor.
Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife and son, following his beloved Everton Football Club and running. The obligatory long run on a Sunday morning helps digest what is usually a emotionally taxing Saturday afternoon at Goodison Park!
