Stephanie is a Senior Associate in DTM Legal’s Commercial Property team with over a decade of experience in the sector. She is known for her pragmatic, commercially driven advice and takes the time to understand her clients and their businesses to deliver tailored, practical solutions.
Stephanie’s work spans a wide range of commercial property matters. She has particular expertise in Landlord and Tenant law, estate management, and commercial acquisitions and disposals, having acted for landlords in the retail sector and large landed estate in North Wales.
Her development work includes advising on high-value options and land sales to major housing developers along with site acquisitions and promotion agreements.
Stephanie frequently provides property support on corporate transactions, including business sales and purchases. Notably, having advised on the property aspects of acquisitions of licenced premises and wedding venues.
With a strong background in the hospitality sector, Stephanie has experience handling property matters relating to licensed premises including hotels and restaurants, as well as dealing with premises licensing issues. Stephanie’s understanding of premises licensing has proven invaluable in supporting both independent operators and large-scale organisations.
She also leads the property aspects of insolvency transactions, advising insolvency practitioners, lenders, and corporate clients on the management, sale, and restructuring of distressed property assets. Her strategic approach ensures that complex transactions involving title issues, leasehold problems, or regulatory concerns are resolved efficiently.

Throughout her career, Stephanie has acted on a wide range of complex and high-value property matters. One of her most notable achievements includes handling the property aspects of the sale of a multi-million pound caravan park in North Wales, acting on behalf of liquidators. This transaction required a strategic and time-sensitive approach to preserve value and interests of multiple parties.
Stephanie also advised a landowner in connection with development options and land sales to a national housebuilder, ensuring favourable terms and commercial protections throughout a high-value, multi-phase transaction.
Her work within the hospitality sector includes overseeing purchases and leases of hotels, restaurants, and licensed premises, combining legal knowledge with a commercial awareness of the operational considerations unique to the industry.
In another significant matter, she acted in the sale of disused quarry land, providing advice on the associated development matters and was congratulated for her pragmatic approach to perfecting title and dealing with other matters which arose along the way.

Education & Training
Stephanie studied Law at Chester University, graduating with an LLB (Hons), and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in Christleton.
She began her legal career in 2014 as a Paralegal in property law, completing her Training Contract from 2015 to 2017, during which she completed two seats in commercial property. She qualified as a Solicitor in March 2017 and has worked exclusively in commercial property ever since, bringing over a decade of specialised experience to her role.
Her legal education and practical training have been instrumental in shaping her commercially focused and client-centred approach to property law.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her young family and is a proud mum to two boys. A dedicated athlete, she has completed two Ironman triathlons and has proudly represented Great Britain in age-group triathlon competitions.
When she’s not swimming, cycling or running, you’ll often find her sailing, hiking or horse riding with her two ex-racehorses and a pony! Stephanie enjoys all things outdoors and certainly enjoys making the most of her free time.
