Molly Drake is a Solicitor in the Commercial Property department at DTM Legal.
Molly graduated from Cardiff University in 2018 with a First Class Law degree. She went on to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2019 at the University of Law, Chester, alongside a combined Masters in Law and Business Management, achieving a Distinction.
She began her legal career at a regional firm operating across North Wales and Shropshire, initially joining as a Property Paralegal before commencing her training contract in 2020. Molly qualified as a Property Solicitor in 2021, during which time she gained broad experience handling an array of residential, agricultural and commercial property matters.
Since qualifying, Molly has specialised in commercial property, advising a diverse client base on a wide range of matters, including:
- Landlord and Tenant matters
- Commercial acquisitions and disposals
- Acting for a global bank in secured lending transactions
- Forestry sales
- Drafting and advising on option and overage agreements, as well as easements
Molly has acted on a variety of transactions, including the acquisition and disposal of public houses, offices and bed and breakfast premises, as well as advising both landlords and tenants on the granting, variation, renewal and surrender of leases of commercial units.
Outside of work, Molly enjoys spending time with family and friends, keeping active at the gym, and travelling to new destinations whenever she has the opportunity.
