Megan George is a Paralegal in the Commercial Property team at DTM Legal. Megan graduated from the University of Chester with a First-Class Honours degree before completing her LPC and LLM (Master of Laws) at the University of Law in Chester. She is currently gaining practical experience as a Paralegal, with the aim of pursuing a training contract in the near future.
At DTM Legal, Megan supports the Commercial Property team on a wide range of matters, including leases, sales and purchases, asset management, refinances, and utilities. She assists with the progression of matters from instruction through to completion, with some of her tasks including liaising with clients and third parties, drafting legal documentation, conducting legal research, carrying out due diligence checks, and preparing and submitting Land Registry applications, alongside providing broader support to ensure matters progress efficiently.
Before joining DTM Legal, Megan worked as a Legal Assistant in Commercial Property at another legal firm in Chester, where she provided administrative support to fee-earners, helping to ensure matters were progressed smoothly and efficiently.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys exploring new walking routes with her dog Tilly, a Golden Retriever-German Shepherd cross, and spending quality time with family and friends. She also has a keen interest in travelling and enjoys visiting new and historical places whenever she has the opportunity.
