Henry Cook is a Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution team at DTM Legal. Most of his work is based out of DTM’s Liverpool office. Henry assists in commercial disputes, construction and insolvency matters.

Henry is currently a law student at Cardiff University and joins DTM Legal for his professional placement year. He is currently 2 years into his degree and elected to do a year in industry to expand his practical experience and commercial awareness. During his time at University, Henry participated in Legal writing and debating competitions as well as being a member of the Cardiff University Law Society.

As a Paralegal within the Dispute Resolution team at DTM Legal, Henry assists with a wide variety of disputes, including debt recovery, contractual disputes, insolvency and construction matters. This includes supporting clients through matters in both the High Court and County Court. Dealing with the recovery of sums arising from breach of contracts, advising on settlement negations for our clients and often resolving complex disputes at all stages of litigation proceedings. During his tenure at DTM Legal, Henry has assisted his colleagues with High Court breach of contract claims.

Out of the office Henry often attends events hosted by Merseyside Young Professionals, events like these help Henry expand his personal and professional connections. He enjoys meeting likeminded individuals to broaden his commercial awareness outside of the legal profession.

In his spare time, Henry enjoys playing multiple sports, he plays hockey for Deeside Ramblers Hockey Club in Division 1 North of the English Hockey Leagues. When not on the hockey pitch, Henry enjoys golf, padel and spending time with family and friends.
