Tom Clarkson is a Junior Paralegal in the Commercial Property team at DTM Legal, Tom joined the firm following his graduation from the University of Liverpool in 2025, where he studied Law. During his degree, he developed an academic interest in legal theory and jurisprudence, alongside the broader role of law in society. Tom assists the team across a broad range of commercial property matters, providing practical and tailored assistance to individuals and businesses.
Tom’s work includes file maintenance, compliance support, Land Registry applications, and post-completion work such as SDLT returns and registration. His role involves liaising with clients to provide updates and ensure matters progress efficiently, as well as supporting solicitors with the administrative and technical aspects of property transactions. Tom has also had involvement in more complex, cross-department transactions, working alongside colleagues in the Corporate and Commercial teams on completions and associated post-completion matters.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys music and attending live events, as well as following football. He also enjoys cooking and spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, and he is always keen to explore new restaurants across Liverpool.
Tom takes a people-focused approach to his work, aiming to understand client needs and provide support in a way that is practical and tailored to each matter.
