Ioannis Rathbone is a Paralegal in DTM Legal’s Residential Property team. In his role, Ioannis supports clients and colleagues across a range of residential conveyancing matters, helping to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently from instruction through to completion. His work involves assisting with legal documentation, liaising with clients and third parties, and providing practical support across a variety of property transactions.
Ioannis has experience in a broad range of property matters, including commercial and residential property, auction transactions and agricultural land.
He graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. He then went on to complete his Diploma in Legal Practice at Bond University in Brisbane in 2022, before being admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2023.
During his time practising in Australia, Ioannis developed experience in commercial property, residential property, agricultural land, and banking and finance matters. One of his notable achievements was being part of a panel of solicitors for Rabobank.
Ioannis is fluent in both German and Greek and has successfully guided clients through legal matters in German, helping to ensure clear communication and confidence throughout the legal process.
Outside of work, Ioannis enjoys travelling to an ever-growing list of destinations, spending time in nature, cooking, and all things sport-related, particularly boxing and following his beloved Bayern Munich.
