Helen has over 12 years’ experience in Family Law having started her career in Liverpool and subsequently worked in Manchester before settling in Chester. She joins DTM Legal from another commercial practice in Chester where she was listed as a key lawyer within the family team in the most recent Legal 500 rankings.
Helen advises on all aspects of private family law with her particular expertise being in financial matters for both married and cohabiting couples. Helen has experience in advising on wealth protection including pre-nuptial and co-habitation agreements. Helen’s work also encompasses complex children act applications to include those with an international element.
Helen Davies is a member of Resolution which is a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way. She holds their specialist accreditations in complex higher income/asset Financial Remedies and Private Children Law.
Helen always takes time to understand a clients’ specific needs and aspirations whilst ensuring she adopts a constructive approach and always with a focus on the bigger picture.
Away from the office, she enjoys singing, getting out and about into the countryside and generally chasing after her young son.
