Sarah Harrison: Estates and Partnerships
Sarah’s talk will deal with common issues which arise when a deceased person’s estate includes an interest in partnership. These include whether land is a partnership asset and how the estate’s interest can be realised.
James Clarke: SDLT in Private Client Work
James will be discussing SDLT and the various considerations for transactions involving trusts, deceased estates and partnerships. Being one of the taxes with which most private client practitioners are least familiar, this is a must see for anyone considering undertaking transactions affected by SDLT.

STEP events provide education, training and networking opportunities for those interested in facilitating good stewardship and financial planning across multiple generations.
