Nazanin is a Paralegal in DTM Legal’s Dispute Resolution team, having joined the firm in November 2025. She works alongside the team’s solicitors and fee earners, supporting them in progressing a wide range of contentious matters, with a particular focus on commercial debt recovery.
As part of her role, Nazanin reviews cases and documentation, monitors court deadlines and assists with the preparation of court documents, applications, directions questionnaires and witness statements. She also liaises with clients and the courts throughout the progression of matters and provides support with court bundles and other case preparation. Alongside her commercial debt recovery work, Nazanin also assists with insolvency matters, including bankruptcy proceedings.
Before joining DTM Legal, Nazanin developed experience across several areas of dispute resolution. Her first graduate legal role was with a legal charity, where she provided legal aid advice to vulnerable individuals pursuing discrimination claims under the Equality Act 2010. This included matters involving employers, local authorities, educational institutions and businesses and service providers.
Nazanin subsequently worked in property litigation, supporting large property management companies with the recovery of ground rent and service charge arrears and possession proceedings. During this role, she was given responsibility for reviewing Part 8 claims, as well as helping to train and supervise new paralegals.
She later gained experience in the enforcement of judgments and awards arising from housing disrepair, tenancy deposit, medical negligence and data breach claims. She also assisted with medical negligence matters, including reviewing medical records and assessing the merits of potential claims. Nazanin was subsequently promoted into a fee-earning role, managing her own caseload of data breach claims alongside enforcement matters.
Nazanin graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2021 with a First-Class LLB (Hons) in Law with a Modern Language (French). During the final year of her degree, she volunteered with the University of Liverpool Law Clinic, assisting solicitors providing free legal advice on immigration matters. She is also a member of the Merseyside Young Professionals Group and has B2-level proficiency in French.
Outside of work, Nazanin enjoys going to concerts, learning new languages and socialising with friends.
