Megan George is a Trainee Solicitor at DTM Legal, having previously worked as a Paralegal in the Commercial Property team at DTM Legal.
Megan graduated from the University of Chester with a First-Class Honours degree before completing her LPC and LLM (Master of Laws) at the University of Law in Chester. She joined DTM Legal as a Paralegal, gaining valuable practical experience before successfully securing a place on the firm’s Trainee Solicitor Programme.
During her time in the Commercial Property team, Megan supported colleagues across a wide range of matters, including leases, sales and purchases, asset management, refinances and utilities. Her role involved liaising with clients and third parties, drafting legal documentation, conducting legal research, carrying out due diligence and preparing Land Registry applications, as well as providing wider support to help transactions progress efficiently.
As a Trainee Solicitor, Megan will complete four seats across different departments within DTM Legal before qualifying as a solicitor. This will allow her to build on her existing Commercial Property experience while developing her knowledge across a broader range of legal specialisms and gaining experience of different types of client work.
Before joining DTM Legal, Megan worked as a Legal Assistant in Commercial Property at another law firm in Chester, where she supported fee-earners with the day-to-day progression of property matters.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys exploring new walking routes with her dog Tilly, a Golden Retriever-German Shepherd cross, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys travelling and visiting new and historical places.
