Alex Ashbrook is a Trainee Solicitor in the Commercial Property team at DTM Legal.
This is her first seat as part of the DTM Legal Trainee Solicitor Scheme, and she will train in a variety of specialisms as she works towards qualifying in 2027.
Alex graduated with a first-class LLB Law degree and a distinction in her LPC LLM from the University of Law in Chester.
In her current role, Alex supports the Commercial Property team on a wide range of matters, including leases, sales and purchases, developments, option agreements, property management, refinances and utilities. She works closely with clients, assisting on client accounts of all sizes and helping to resolve any queries that arise.
Alex is passionate about property and has a wealth of experience in dealing with various property legal services, having previously worked as a paralegal at DTM legal.
Before joining us, Alex gained work experience within a Chester firm as a Litigation Assistant in their Litigation team primarily assisting with contentious probate and property litigation matters. Alex assisted by drafting key court documents, corresponding with clients, counsel and mediators, conducting legal research as well as attending court to see a forfeiture case in action. Alex has also obtained work experience within a North Wales firm, primarily acting on behalf of high street lenders in commercial property financing transactions.
Outside of work, you will typically find Alex spending time with her horse, Bobby, or in the gym. Alex enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going on walks in the Cheshire countryside and embarking on solo holidays.
