DTM Legal Supports North West Cancer Research (NWCR)

DTM Legal has been proudly supported North West Cancer Research (NWCR) since 2023, extending their time as our ‘Charity of the Year’ until the end of 2024. This remarkable charity is dedicated to advancing the fight against cancer in our local region and became the focal point of our charitable endeavours in 2023 after members of the DTM Legal team found themselves in the care of the charity.

Our Journey with North West Cancer Research

Our journey with NWCR has been marked by several fundraising events and enthusiastic engagement from our staff, clients and connections within our community. From the outset, we organised a bake sale where our staff donned blue and yellow attire, reflecting NWCR’s brand colours. This not only raised funds but also allowed the DTM Legal team to forge a deeper connection with our chosen cause.

Having previously hosted a charity quiz night in Chester, Our most recent event was a Quiz Night in Liverpool. Our networking quiz tested participants’ knowledge across various categories while generating much-needed funds. The Liverpool Charity quiz raised over £400 for the charity which was fantastic addition to our fundraising efforts. Based on the success of these events we look forward to hosting another fundraising quiz as part of our future fundraising efforts.

But our commitment doesn’t stop there. We also support and attend events organised by North West Cancer Research on a regular basis, such as the recent Liverpool Ladies’ Lunch. Looking ahead, we have a range of exciting initiatives in our offices geared towards raising both funds and awareness for NWCR and will be attending the Chester Ladies’ Lunch!

Snowdon at Sunrise

Although not organised by DTM Legal, nine members of the team did have the privilege of joining the charity for their Snowdon at Sunrise event! This made DTM Legal the largest corporate team joining NWCR for their first year organising the Snowdon at Sunrise event. Our team members starting their ascent of Snowdon at 2:15am on Sunday 12th June so they could reach the summit in time for sunrise. Deprived of sleep and after the long walk up the Llanberis path all the members of our team did reach the peak of Snowdon. Our brave walkers enjoyed a stunning sunrise over the Welsh hills and managed to raise just shy of £2,500 for North West Cancer Research.
