DTM Legal has proudly supported North West Cancer Research (NWCR) during 2023 as our charity of the year. This remarkable charity is dedicated to advancing the fight against cancer in our local region and became the focal point of our charitable endeavours in 2023.
Our Journey with North West Cancer Research
Our journey with NWCR has been marked by several fundraising events and enthusiastic engagement from our staff, clients and connections within our community. From the outset, we organised a bake sale where our staff donned blue and yellow attire, reflecting NWCR’s brand colours. This not only raised funds but also allowed the DTM Legal team to forge a deeper connection with our chosen cause.
Our most recent event was a Quiz Night in Chester, testing participants’ knowledge across various categories while generating much-needed funds. The Charity quiz raised over £1,200 for the charity which was fantastic. Based on the success of the event we look forward to hosting another fundraising quiz as part of our 2024 fundraising efforts.
But our commitment doesn’t stop there. Looking ahead, we have a range of exciting Christmas-themed initiatives in our offices geared towards raising both funds and awareness for NWCR. From homemade decorations, ‘Guess the sweets in the jar’ and ‘Name the Bear’ competitions and many more.

Why North West Cancer Research? NWCR has been a stalwart in cancer research for over 70 years, tirelessly working to find innovative solutions and funding vital projects in the North West of England. We believe NWCR can significantly impact the fight against cancer and we are proud to do our part to support their efforts. This charity is particularly close to our hearts with colleagues, family and friends currently undergoing treatment.
Looking to the future, DTM Legal will be continuing our support for North West Cancer Research into 2024. We remain steadfast in our commitment to making a positive difference and changing the lives of those affected by cancer.
