Care homes operator Kingsley Healthcare has continued its rapid expansion with the multi-million pound purchase of two private nursing homes in Cheshire owned and run by Rhiannon and David Walker and their two daughters.
DTM Legal, led by Head of Corporate, Ed Barnes, acted for the shareholders of Redwalls Care Services Limited and Drew Care Limited in the sale of Redwalls nursing home in Sandiway, Northwich, pictured, and Sharston House nursing home in Knutsford which has added 92 beds to Kingsley’s growing portfolio.
Both companies were referred to DTM Legal by Mitchell Charlesworth who acted as tax advisors on the deal.

Kingsley CEO Daya Thayan said: “We are pleased to welcome the residents and staff in these homes into our Kingsley family. Kingsley is looking to acquire further quality homes in prime locations as well as moving forward with a new build programme to complement our property portfolio.”
The company, which started off with one care home in Lowestoft, Suffolk, 16 years ago, now has 26 homes as far afield as Dorset and the North-West and aims to become a familiar national brand within five years.
