Guy is a dual qualified Chartered Civil Engineer and Solicitor specialising in contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering law having worked within the construction industry on major civil engineering projects in the UK and Hong Kong.
He regularly acts for funders, developers, consultants, contractors, purchasers and tenants in relation to drafting and advising on non-contentious construction documentation. Guy’s non-contentious experience includes negotiating and drafting various construction documents, standard form and negotiated construction contracts, framework agreements, professional appointments, novation agreements, collateral warranties and bonds.
Guy is familiar with all methods of dispute resolution including mediation, adjudication and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court and regularly acts for a range of clients.
Guy is a graduate of Portsmouth University and Hong Kong University, a Chartered Civil Engineer, Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a member of the Law Society of England and Wales.
Away from the office Guy spends his time with his wife and two boys, cycling, skiing, running and swimming (but not very well).
