CHARITY RUGBY MATCH DRAWS A BIG CROWD

For the first time, the North West Property professionals formed a squad to join up with their counterparts from Yorkshire and the Midlands to play in a Tri Region Property Charity Rugby tournament at Moseley Rugby Club.

Thomas Pearson of DTM represented the Northwest, playing at Flyhalf. Other local representatives were Patrick Hughes of Legat Owen and David Legat of Mason Owen.

The Northwest team was led by Anthony O’Keefe of DTZ who won their first match against Yorkshire linking well to score some good tries, but were unable to defeat the hosts who retained the cup this year.

Over £5,000 was raised for charity and plans are already in place for the re-match next spring in the Northwest.
