DTM hosted another open-house day at its Chester office for friends of the firm to enjoy all 3 of the six nation’s games. The conference room was again converted into a relaxing viewing arena with beer on tap (courtesy of the temporary bar which certain DTM partners would like to see become a permanent fixture!) and food provided by the resident Burger Van (which unfortunately is a permanent fixture!).

The scene was therefore set for the predominantly, but certainly not exclusively, English supporting crowd to be treated to an afternoon watching their team take the Grand Slam.  It wasn’t to be. As Ireland both out thought and out played an inexperienced English side only for the Welsh to underwhelm when offered a sniff of a chance.

Fortunately, everything else was much more predictable – the beer flowed, the burgers were followed by fish & chips and Morris was last to leave.
