DTM sponsored the St Helens Tourism and Leisure Awards last week and presented the Best Team award to The World of Glass.

With tourism playing a key part in the local and regional economy, this awards dinner was an opportunity to recognise and congratulate those who do so much to ensure that every single person who visits the region leaves with a desire to return.

World of Glass winning this award was no mean feat, as the category included Saints, Haydock Park Racecourse and Eccleston Park Golf Course.

Special mention should go to Haydock Park Racecourse who hosted the event and put on a fantastic evening as we have become accustomed to when visiting the venue.
